What are the “Network Tools” in cPanel?

One of the useful features in cPanel is the “Network Tools” function which allows acquiring the information about any domain. It helps you to diagnose the general issues that stop your website’s function from working properly. It actually enables you to query some domain and obtain relevant information about the domain.

“Network Tools” are located within the category “Advanced” in your cPanel

Upon clicking on “Network Tools” you will be able to find out the information relevant to particular domain.

Domain Lookup:  Put the domain URL in the box “Enter a domain to look up” and press “Look Up”, it will response with the information regarding DNS settings and registrar information etc.  

Trace Route: Click the “Trace Route” button to trace the route from the server on which your website is on to the computer you have accessed the cPanel. It helps to find out the issues in the network connection from the server to your location.
